MEET MARISOL FROM LAS ROSAS PROJECT:
With gender inequality and lack of stability impacting women in regions of Colombia, the Las Rosas project was created for 550+ women to gain training in areas of economic empowerment, social recognition and quality coffee.
As some of them had experienced gender violence and have been financially dependent their whole lives, they were looking for some recognition and instruction.
Now, because of the Las Rosas project, the women of Colombia are learning how to become stable and independent coffee producers.
With your support, the women of this origin will continue to receive education in gender equity and will gain financial literacy.

Great coffee--not my favorite from this company
Certainly great coffee, so the rating would be five stars against other brands, but I prefer the richer, perhaps "heavier" flavor of some other PO coffees. For folks who like a more delicate flavor, I can see this as a winner, and the "fruity" description is accurate, for a non-coffee-expert like me. I'd buy it again for sure, just not as much up my alley as the Sumatra.
